Dentoamerica – Puerto Vallarta Testimonials

review

Karen H – Delta BC, Canada

"I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Dentoamerica! I had my front two teeth replaced with crowns and my natural teeth whitened. I have had so many compliments! The reason I had them done is in the past I had a root canal done on one of my front teeth and the color changed. I went to a dentist in Canada who then put a veneer on but the veneer was cracked and basically it was bigger than the tooth next to it.. so I looked funny. The crack soaked up the red wine and coffee. See my below review of this clinic because this is where their service goes above and beyond!"

"My current plant of treatment was for one new and two replacement crowns at a cost of $3500. The dentist set down and did an exam and came up with her treatment plan which was a root canal, 2 crowns and a filling for $980. The difference paid for my trip. Was not sure about this until I visited the office which was as nice as my local doctor. No regrets will be back for a check up and whiting on my next trip."

"Hi Everyone.... just want to take the opportunity to let y'all know how wonderful this place is. I had the pleasure of having work done at this dentist office....the service was impeccable, the staff all speak English and greet you with sparkling smiles. You instantly feel like part of a family the moment you walk in there. The atmosphere surely doesn't not feel like a stuffy dentist office. I would totally recommend this place to anyone who needs dentistry work done, no matter what it is.... I'm sure they can accommodate you!! Karla was the little sweetheart who did work on me and so looking forward to going back next year for my annual check up! I tip my hat to Kirk and Mariya (owners) for the excellent service they provide!!! I'll be back!! :-)"

"To say we have confidence in the Dentoamerica team is an understatement. We come with fairly profound dental issues including my periodontal disease and my spouses emergent needs. The top professional care we recieved this trip included bone grafting, root canal, crowns, implant, surgical extractions and complex decay repairs in addition to deep cleaning. Excuse the pun but that was a mouthful! for any dental care facility. We are 2 weeks past the procedures and doing great. Our heartfelt appreciation of the exemplar work from everyone there. The secret is out, the care is the best, the people are the best, the facility and equiptment are world class."

WARNING!!!! If you are thinking of having implants at this dental clinic, I highly recommend that you think again. In April I had 5 implants on the top and 3 on the bottom done by Dr. Oscar and am now getting major restorative work done in Canada to fix the issues created by his work. After returning home, a massive infection set in to my lower jaw on one side and when the dentist in Canada opened my gums, one implant was literally floating in puss caused from a major infection that was eating away at my jaw bone. He was shocked and took photos for training purposes. I had two implants removed, which were apparently not located correctly – too close to the edge of the bone, not centered. I had to have bone grafting done to rebuild my jaw which is another 9 months to heal. Then, I got an infection in the other side and had to have surgery on that side as well. Eating is difficult and will be for many months. For now, the upper implants are holding, but were apparently placed incorrectly, again not centered in the jaw bone and spaced poorly. The cleanliness and accuracy standards are not the same. Dr. Oscar did not use surgical magnifiying glasses, just his own eyesight. He searched for a screw in some little tin of other screws while I was getting surgery – hardly sterile! He took out the stitches in the bottom jaw after only two days (should be min 7-10 days) and the stitches were not double sewn like they do in Canada, that’s likely why I got an infection. I could have died from the serious infection so close to my brain. When I contacted Kirk to tell him what had happened, he said they guarantee their work and I could get them redone. AS IF I WOULD DO THAT THERE! This horror story can happen to you. I highly recommend that you do not get this major surgery done in Mexico, or face serious health issues and costs. You get what you pay for.
