I got an lower dental implant on August, Dr. Moreno is professional. I was surprised that I didn't experience any pain the next day. I rinse my mouth 3 times a day for the following month, use ice pack for a week, the surgical area didn't bleed or swollen. I still need to finish 2 more steps for the crown. It cost me around 1750 including everything. I do need to mention that do not expect the dental facilities there are as fancy as some of the dentistry in America. However the dentist's experience is what I care most. Dr. Moreno also works as a Professor in a local dental school, I believe her skills are up to date.
They offer pick up at the boarder (TJ side), it's far more time saving to walk across than driving, save a lot of waiting time.

I have made two visits to Implant Dental Center for implants and crowns. The first was in March, the second in June and tomorrow will be my third. In March, I waited 10 minutes after walking across the border for the office manager, Luis Mares, who had advised me on the phone prior to going to Dr. Moreno. I had researched doctor Moreno thoroughly on the web and found that she is not only U.S. educated (Univ. of Michigan, M.S.), she also has several other degrees from schools and institutes in Mexico and in Europe. She has written/writes books on implantology and has literally conducted 1000s of implants. She also teaches and has classes on the second floor of her building. The testimonials were great, but what finally sold me was that she was one of a very few dentists that were listed by two U.S. dental insurers. I don't have insurance, which is why I am going to Mexico, but I know that insurance companies do not generally authorize quacks.
My mother, who is 83, had to make some big decisions about her teeth. She originally wanted to have all her remaining teeth pulled and have dentures put in. Implants were not an option here in Hawaii because of the cost. However, a friend of mine mentioned going to Tijuana. After much research and reading, we found Dr. Moreno. She recommended not to pull the teeth but to go with implants. I am glad my mom took her advice. It took 2 trips and 6 months. She had 7 implants put in and had 2 bone graphs. My mom now has permanent teeth! She does not have to forfeit the ease of chewing and tasting her food. And the cost? it was 1/3 the cost I would have had to pay here for the 7 posts. In fact, if we would have stayed here and gone the denture route, it would have been the same cost as the posts cost us in Tijuana.
Treatment Received: Antibiotic and Antifungal Treatment, Bone Graft, Dental Implants. I had an implant for tooth #5 along with a bone graph. She used only a local anesthetic which turned out to be a good idea. I was in the chair about an hour. No pain or swelling. I am eager to go back for my crown.
I have never been to a dental office like this, but this is Tijuana and there are cultural differences, nut the service was good.
